Program Overview


Master in Entrepreneurship and Business Venturing

The Master in Entrepreneurship and Business Venturing offers specialized advanced training in the field of entrepreneurship and business venturing. The purpose of the Master is to provide the best training for the identification of business opportunities and the development and practice of successful business projects.

Programme Description

The programme and methodology of the Masters are designed from the perspective of creating a balance between academic rigour and practical application. The different subjects combine theoretical and practical classes, in which students will apply and integrate the knowledge acquired in different phases of business projects.


Curriculum

  • The programme is also characterized by offering a wide range of optional subjects, allowing each student to adapt their education to their own interests, needs, and projects.
  • A series of professional seminars will be given so that students can learn directly from real entrepreneurial experiences.
  • Students will actively participate in various activities developed over the course, all addressing the entrepreneurial phenomenon (workshops, round tables, conferences, entrepreneurs club, etc.).
  • The programme is completed with a final dissertation in which students will be required to propose and develop a viable business project that could successfully be put into practice.
  • All students will carry out internships through which they will discover, firsthand, the problems and challenges of setting up a new business, developing new projects for a company, etc.

Admission

  • Application: The request must be submitted electronically through the application system.
  • Requirements: A university degree qualifying students for access to a master's degree or equivalent in the country of issue is required.
  • Admission criteria:
    • Title of degree and transcripts (35%)
    • Interest and motivation of the candidate to suit the objectives of the program (30%)
    • Training and activities evidencing knowledge (10%)
    • Professional experience (10%)
    • Complementary training (10%)
    • English and other languages (5%)
  • Language requirements: Check the general language requirements required to study a Masters at UC3M.

Enrollment

  • Tuition fees:
    • EU students: 7,800 (130/ECTS) for the first academic year (60 ECTS)
    • Non-EU students: 11,700 (195/ECTS) for the first academic year (60 ECTS)
  • Reservation fee: 800, paid once the student receives notification of admission to the masters, and deducted from the first tuition payment.
  • Additional information: The indicated public prices do not include the ECTS corresponding to the Formative Complements that the student must take.

Scholarships

  • UC3M Tuition Grants for Academic Year 2026/2027: A maximum of 5 grants have been announced to cover the net tuition fees for students admitted to the Master's program.
