The ZPHU, affiliated with the Institute of Psychology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, offers a state-approved training program for Psychological Psychotherapists with a focus on Behavioral Therapy as a postgraduate course, aiming for approval under the Psychotherapy Act (PsychThG). The training period can last three or five years.

Ausbildung Psychologische Psychotherapie (Training in Psychological Psychotherapy)

The training encompasses approximately 4,200 hours, divided into theoretical training, practical activity, practical training, self-experience, and supervision, as specified by the Approval and Examination Regulation (APrV) of the PsychThG.

Training candidates are students at Humboldt-Universität, benefiting from university conditions, such as the BVG ticket and access to campus facilities like the library in Adlershof.

A team of competent colleagues supports the training in theory, practical training, and self-experience.

Ausbildungskosten und Vergütung (Training Costs and Compensation)

• The current training fees are 13,680 EUR, including group self-experience and supervision.
• Additional costs for individual self-experience (at least 10 hours) apply.
• No extra fees are charged for the application process.
• After successfully passing the intermediate colloquium and starting practical training, a honorarium is paid.

Bewerbung (Application)

The training begins annually in February. The admission requirement is a diploma or master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology in the main course of study.
