Program Overview

The Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin offers a Beachvolleyball program as part of its Zentraleinrichtung Hochschulsport. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the sport, including its techniques, tactics, and strategies.

Program Details

The Beachvolleyball program is divided into several levels, each with its own set of requirements and objectives. The levels are:

• A1: No prior experience is required. This level focuses on basic techniques, such as bagging, pritsching, attacking, and serving.
• A2: Participants should have a stable bagging and pritsching technique and be able to serve from below. This level builds on the basic techniques and introduces more advanced tactics.
• F1: Participants should have a secure bagging and serving technique, as well as basic tactical knowledge. This level focuses on advanced techniques, such as attacking in the air and blocking.
• F2: Participants should have a high level of technical proficiency and tactical knowledge. This level focuses on refining techniques and developing advanced tactics.

What to Bring

Participants are required to bring:

• Warm clothing or clothing suitable for the temperature
• Neopren socks or beach socks (if necessary)
• Drinks

Important Notes

• The program takes place on indoor courts.
• Showers are available on site.
• The location is described as follows: The Funkhaus Beach is located on the same grounds as Padel FC. After entering the grounds, Padel FC is on the left and Funkhaus Beach is on the right in the old warehouse/hall.

Participation

The program is open to participants of all levels. The following courses are offered:

• A1 (1st period) - indoor: Tuesday, 17:30-19:00, Funkhaus Beach Rummelsburg, 21.10-12.2025, guided by Marc Lattka
• A2 (1st period) - indoor: Thursday, 17:30-19:00, Funkhaus Beach Rummelsburg, 23.10-12.2025, guided by Marc Lattka The costs are as follows:
• 105 EUR for students
• 114 EUR for employees
• 130 EUR for external participants and alumni
