Programme Overview
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has recently reported that Germany has the highest retention rate of international students among leading study destinations (together with Canada). The latest data indicates that around 60% of international students start their careers in the country after graduating. Similarly, in its recent Wissenschaft weltoffen report, the DAAD has found that nearly two-thirds (65%) of international students pursuing a degree in Germany in the 2023/24 academic year planned to remain in the country.

English-Language Degree Programmes
Three-quarters (73%) of all international Master's students in Germany are enrolled in English-language degree programmes. Of all federal states, Berlin has accounted for a 30% increase in the influx of international students over the past 5 years.
