M.A. Rehabilitationsp‰dagogik

Introduction

The M.A. Rehabilitationsp‰dagogik is a mono-study program that consists of several areas of study.

Study Structure

The program is divided into the following areas:

• Pflichtbereich: 80 LP, including the Master's thesis
• Fachlicher Wahlpflichtbereich: 20 LP
• ‹berfachlicher Wahlpflichtbereich (‹WP): 20 LP

Contents

The program covers the following areas:

• Societal and infrastructural framework conditions: inclusion and participation; institutional and organizational conditions of rehabilitation and participation
• Diagnostics and consulting
• Research practice

Fachlicher Wahlpflichtbereich

In this area, a focus (I-III) with two modules each must be completed:

• (I) Communication and language
• (II) Life-shortening illnesses and complex disabilities
• (III) Psychosocial impairments and interventions

‹berfachlicher Wahlpflichtbereich (‹WP)

In the ‹WP, modules with a total of 20 LP must be completed.

‹WP-Modules

• Complete modules from other departments or institutions of the HU in the ‹WP must be completed.
• As an MA student, both BA and MA offers that are open for the ‹WP can be chosen.
• The modules may be completed with a module completion exam (MAP) without a grade.
• It is recommended to inform yourself in time about the corresponding examination modalities with the providers of the teaching offers that you want to attend in the ‹WP.

‹WP in AGNES

• Only modules that are explicitly open for the ‹WP should be booked.
• The teaching offer for the ‹WP is extra marked in AGNES and can be found under Humboldt-Universit‰t zu Berlin --> ‹berfachlicher Wahlpflichtbereich.
• Registration for the teaching events via AGNES is mandatory.

Forschungspraktikum

The research practical course is coordinated by Dr. Nadja Melina Burgio.

Abschlussarbeit

The final thesis is created in the module 9 "Masterabschluss". The prerequisite for participation in module 9 is the successful completion of modules 1, 2, 3, 4, and one of the focus modules 5a/6a/7a.
