The Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin offers a variety of programs through its Zentraleinrichtung Hochschulsport. One of the programs available is the Latin Dance (Solo) course.

Latin Dance (Solo) Course

The Latin Dance (Solo) course is taught in the Cuban style and covers various dance styles, including Salsa, Son Cubano, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, and Rumba. The course focuses on learning basic steps and special moves, which are then combined into a choreography. Students will work on their movement and coordination techniques, leg and footwork, and arm styling to improve their speed and expression.

• The course is offered at different levels, including A1 and A1-A2.
• Classes are held at various times and locations, including SFH G-T and Sporthalle Am Weidendamm 3.

Semester Information

The winter semester begins on September 24, 2025, and booking for the semester opens on October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Booking for external students opens on October 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The university will be closed for the winter holidays from December 15, 2025.
