Biomedical Engineering Basics

• Graduate cycles: GBM 6125
• Description: Univariate and multivariate statistical analysis. Evaluation of intervention and diagnostic techniques: clinical trials with or without a control group, placebo effect, bias. Bioethics: legal responsibility, standards.
• Remarks: Course given at the École Polytechnique. The Université de Montréal student must register by Authorization for studies outside the establishment (CRÉPUQ agreement).
