Program Overview
The Master's program in Physical Activity Sciences aims to provide advanced training in physical activity sciences and introduce students to research in movement analysis and biomechanics, movement and physical activity neuroscience, exercise physiology, physical activity promotion, and sports psychology.

- Psychologie du sport et de l'activitť physique: In-depth study of sports and physical activity psychology. Theories and methodological approaches in the development and evaluation of interventions.
- Exercice, cerveau sain et maladies neurologiques: Physical activity and brain health. Pathophysiology and movement disorders in various neurological diseases. Impact of physical activity on clinical symptoms and movement disorders in various neurological diseases.
- Physiologie de l'exercice: Bioenergetics of physical activity and adaptation to training. Cardiorespiratory responses, thermoregulation, and acid-base and mineral balance during exercise and training.
- Sťminaire 1: Diversity of research in physical activity sciences (therapeutic exercise, population health, biomedical sciences). Multidisciplinary and translational approaches. Scientific communication.
- Sťminaire 2: Critical analysis of research work by students in physical activity sciences (therapeutic exercise, population health, biomedical sciences). Consolidation of writing skills.
Admission Requirements
- To be eligible, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Science (Physical Education or Kinesiology) or equivalent.
- Applicants must have obtained a minimum grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.3 at the undergraduate level.
- A letter of acceptance from a research director is required.
- A research proposal is required.
- French language proficiency is required, with a minimum level of B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CECRL).
- English language proficiency is also required.

- Resident of Quebec: $2,183.05 per trimester (15 credits).
- Canadian non-resident of Quebec: $5,393.20 per trimester (15 credits).
- International student: $11,033.05 per trimester (15 credits).
- French or Belgian French-speaking student: $2,183.05 per trimester (15 credits).
