Program Overview


Baccalauréat en Criminologie

The Baccalauréat en Criminologie is a 90-credit program that offers two orientations: Intervention and Analysis.


Program Description

The program allows students to acquire and integrate knowledge on the criminal phenomenon, understand the relationship between helpers and victims, and develop skills in evaluation, intervention, and social, group, and individual support for offenders and victims.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, students must:


  • Hold a diploma of college studies (DEC) awarded by the Quebec Ministry of Education or have equivalent training.
  • Have completed a preparatory year program at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, University of Montreal.
  • Hold a pre-university diploma and have completed one year of university studies.
  • Have completed at least 24 university credits.

Conditions of Admission

Students must also meet specific conditions, including:


  • Being a resident of Quebec or having equivalent status.
  • Having a minimum R score, which varies depending on the category of applicant.
