Overview of the Program

The Certificat d’études individualisé ès arts is a university program offered by the Faculté de l’apprendement continu at the Université de Montréal. This program allows students to pursue their professional and personal goals by acquiring basic skills in one of the disciplines taught at the Faculty of Continuous Learning.

Program Structure

The program is composed of a concentration of 9 to 15 credits of courses. Students complete the certificate by choosing courses from the bank of courses offered by the Faculté de l’apprendement continu and other faculties, schools, and departments of the Université de Montréal.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, students must:

• Be the holder of a diploma of college studies (DEC) awarded by the Ministry of Education of Quebec or have equivalent training
• Have completed 24 credits of university-level courses with a cumulative average of at least 2.0/4.3
• Have completed the Accès-FAC program at the Université de Montréal

French Language Requirement

Students must meet the French language requirement, which includes:

• Providing the results of a French language test or diploma accepted by the program
• Completing a minimum of 60 credits for courses taught in French at a Quebec university

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the program are:

• $2,177.05 per quarter for Quebec residents (15 credits)
• $5,387.20 per quarter for Canadian non-Quebec residents (15 credits)
• $15,602.05 per trimester for international students (15 credits)
