Program Overview

The School of Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture offers a limited enrollment program for students from partner universities. The program has specific requirements and restrictions for both bachelor's and master's level students.


Admission Criteria

  • Only students from universities that are partners with the School can apply.
  • University-wide agreements are not accepted.
  • Applicants to the program in landscape architecture must submit a portfolio, which will be requested through the Student Centre portal after the submission of the application.

Program Requirements

Bachelor Level

  • Limited enrollment in courses taking place in workshops and labs, including:
    • APA1401
    • APA1410
    • APA2410
    • APA2430
    • APA3410
    • APA3430
    • APA1330
    • APA3310

Master Level

  • Master's level students must have completed at least one semester of their master's program before beginning the exchange.
  • They must enroll in a minimum of 9 credits per term.
  • Limited enrollment in courses taking place in workshops and labs, including:
    • APA6506
    • APA6507
    • APA6512
    • APA6508
    • APA6519
    • APA6509
    • APA6520
    • APA6510
    • APA6524
    • APA6517
    • APA6526

Enrollment Restrictions

  • Enrollment in complementary courses must follow the academic pathway.
  • Limited enrollment: only one workshop per student per semester.
  • The following courses are not open to exchange students:
    • APA6014
    • Special activities
    • Internship

Additional Fees

  • Exchange students must pay the course fees related to field visits, manufacturing workshops, or computer science labs.
