College Access and Success Graduate Certificate
The College Access and Success Graduate Certificate at Temple University is designed to prepare higher education professionals for the ever-changing landscape of postgraduate education. This certificate serves as a critical bridge, helping professionals develop marketable skills and competencies, with a significant emphasis on urban issues and themes of college access, affordability, and equity in higher and postgraduate education.
Delivery Method
The College Access and Success Certificate (Graduate) program can be completed entirely in an online format.

To complete the program, students must take the following four courses:

- Diversity Issues in Higher Education
- Getting into College: Strategic Enrollment Management
- The Costs of College
Who Might be Interested?
This graduate certificate is open to Temple students and employees, as well as outside professionals, interested in advancing their knowledge and skills by exploring the urban education experience and investigating themes of equity and access in higher education.

Internships provide opportunities for hands-on experience, refining understanding of coursework, and making professional contacts that can assist in future career development. These are voluntary experiences that take place outside of the program curriculum, and students do not receive credit for internships.
Tuition & Fees
The Certificate Program offers a competitive level of tuition with multiple opportunities for financial support. Tuition rates are set annually by the university and are affected by factors including program degree level, course load, in-state or out-of-state residency, and more. For the 20252026 academic year:
- Pennsylvania resident: $1,148.00 per credit
- Out-of-state: $1,577.00 per credit
