Pharmaceutical Sciences Major
The Pharmaceutical Sciences Major at Temple University offers students two options: an early assurance program through the Pre-Pharmacy concentration, which provides a direct pathway to the doctor of pharmacy degree, or the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree.
Pre-Pharmacy Concentration
The Pre-Pharmacy concentration is an early assurance program designed for high school students committed to becoming pharmacists. This program provides an efficient and cost-effective pathway to a PharmD.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Pharmaceutical Sciences BS is a 120- to 127-credit undergraduate program that prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and related industries. The program creates pathways to post-graduate management and research careers. Students complete the first two years of coursework at Temple's Main Campus and the second two years at the Temple University School of Pharmacy at the Health Sciences Center, with some online course offerings.
