The Strategic Management Certificate Program in the Fox School of Business at Temple University is a nine-credit graduate certificate that focuses on management theory and practice. This program is one of three certificate programs comprising core MBA courses.

The curriculum comprises three courses that emphasize the critical skills necessary for developing and implementing successful business strategies in the workplace. Students will research the drivers of employee performance and commitment, including direct and indirect factors such as employee attitudes, motivation, organizational culture, climate, and leadership.

This program is tailored for current business professionals who want to hone their expertise in strategic management through MBA-level coursework but cannot commit to the MBA program at Fox.

It can be taken on its own or stacked with the Operational Management and Financial Management graduate certificates to fulfill up to 27 of the 30 core credits required for Fox's online or part-time MBA programs.
Program Format and Curriculum
The Strategic Management Certificate will be offered in a hybrid format, with some courses completed in person and most available online. Students will complete three MBA-level courses, totaling nine credit hours:
- Leading Organizations (3 credits)
- Business Strategy in a Global Environment (3 credits)
- Marketing Management/Strategy (3 credits)
