Pre-College Summer in Rome Program

The Pre-College Summer in Rome program is an exciting opportunity for students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 to experience life as an undergraduate student at Temple University Rome. Students will live in onsite dormitory facilities in the historic Spanish Steps in the center of Rome.

Program Details

• The program is a 10-day experience, where students learn from Temple Rome faculty as part of a small group of American and international students.
• Students will use Rome itself as their classroom, experiencing college-level instruction with interdisciplinary, hands-on lessons and activities.
• The program aims to discover why Rome is known as the Eternal City.

• Priority Application Deadline: March 1, 2026

• Deposit Deadline: March 15, 2026, or within 2 weeks of acceptance
• Full Payment Due: May 15, 2026
• Flight Departure from Philadelphia: Saturday, June 27, 2026, with arrival in Rome on Sunday, June 28, 2026
• The Program runs from Monday, June 29 - Tuesday, July 7, 2026
• Departure from Rome to return to Philadelphia: Wednesday, July 8, 2026
