Podiatric Surgery Program

The Podiatric Surgery program at Temple University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the principles and techniques of podiatric surgery.

  • PDSR P250: Principles of Podiatric Surgery I (2.8 Credit Hours) This course introduces students to the principles of podiatric surgery, including charting and informed consent, wound healing, and technical aspects of surgery.
  • PDSR P252: Principles of Podiatric Surgery II (2.5 Credit Hours) This course deals with soft tissue and osseous pathology affecting the toes and lesser metatarsus, and emphasizes reconstructive surgical procedures.

Registration Restrictions

Certain courses have registration restrictions, including:


  • Class Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Classes: Second Year Podiatry.
  • Level Registration Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Podiatric Medicine.

Repeatability

None of the courses in the Podiatric Surgery program may be repeated for additional credits.
