Program Overview
Introduction to the Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship Program
The Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship MS is a flexible program designed to enhance creative problem-solving skills, develop a design thinking mindset, and learn to create a high-growth venture or drive organizational innovation. The program offers three specialization tracks, providing access to schoolwide and university-wide innovation and entrepreneurship resources and centers.
Program Overview
This master's program teaches students to harness creativity and big-picture thinking to foster organizational growth and usher cutting-edge products and new ideas from conception to marketplace, providing better solutions to new or existing business requirements. Students are positioned for professional success by learning to develop:
- A keen eye for recognizing new ventures
- Game-changing business models
- Strategies to target untapped or underserved markets
- Internal process optimizations for a competitive edge
Admissions Criteria
Candidates for the Fox Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship 4+1 program must meet the following guidelines for admission:
- Meet the general 4+1 program admissions criteria.
Curriculum
Courses to Be Completed as an Undergraduate (12 credits)
Students in the Business Analytics 4+1 program should take twelve graduate credits while completing their undergraduate degrees. The recommended curriculum pathway includes:
Junior Year

The final year of the program includes:
- Fall Semester: 9 credits, consisting of:
- 3-9 credits of required courses not previously taken
- 3-6 credits of elective courses
- Spring Semester: 9 credits, consisting of:
- 3-9 credits of required courses not previously taken
- 3-6 credits of elective courses
- All students are required to complete BA 5687: Advanced Professional Development Strategies in either Fall or Spring. This is a 0-credit class.
