About Program
Program Overview
Program Overview
The College Transition Program is a collaborative effort between Temple University Harrisburg and the Milton Hershey School. This program allows high school students in their junior year to apply for enrollment in 15 credits of college-level courses during their senior year.
Program Structure
Courses are taught by Temple instructors, providing students with the opportunity to adjust to the academic course load of a typical first-year college student in a supportive structure and environment. The program includes:
- General education courses
- Access to University resources
- A seminar to prepare students in advance for the academic challenges and adjustments of full-time undergraduate studies
Program Benefits
The College Transition Program enables students to experience the academic rigors of college-level coursework while still in high school, helping them to better prepare for the transition to full-time undergraduate studies.
