Summer Work Study for First-Year Medical students

As part of the program, first-year medical students will gain experience in conducting journal clubs and familiarize themselves with article appraisal. The students will have the opportunity to create and present a poster and/or abstract, which they can use to meet their FMSE requirement, through the guidance of the core research faculty and researchers.

Some scholarly activities from students include:

CST Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (RSP)

The research scholars program allows students to get involved in clinical research by working on one of the many studies the team is involved with, thus leading to students producing their own research for poster presentation at the end of the semester.

Fall and Spring Volunteering for Medical students

Through the fall and spring volunteering program, medical students will have the opportunity to focus on specific projects such as Prehospital Delay, CPR-ELF, CARES, and EIDNET studies. By gathering data from these initiatives, students will be able to develop hypotheses for their FMSE project and prepare for their presentation.
