Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties)

Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) is designed to equip students with the skills to better support the needs of students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. This course aims to improve professional knowledge and understanding of the nature and causes of specific learning difficulties in children. It enhances skills in classroom assessment, goal-setting, instructional choices, and responsiveness to learning difficulties, teaching students how to implement teaching that optimizes student learning.
