Professional Certificate in Positive Education
Overview
The Professional Certificate in Positive Education is founded on the principles of positive psychology, giving educators and allied health professionals the skills to enhance wellbeing and resilience in students. This course teaches principles designed to draw on students' individual strengths and better support students and staff, including different theories of wellbeing, core positive education constructs, and how to utilise scientific theory to create stronger learning environments.

This course is designed for those in educational roles who wish to improve student wellbeing and promote positive change in the workplace, including:
- Educators
- Youth workers
- School counsellors
- Health professionals
- Administrators working in schools and other educational settings
- International students are welcome to study this course, but please note that this course is not available to international students who require a student visa to study in Australia as it does not meet the onshore study requirements and it is not registered with CRICOS.
Pathways
Successful completion of this course will provide credit towards the Master of Applied Positive Psychology. You may also be interested in the Professional Certificate in Wellbeing Science.

The course helps develop the skills to lead change in schools or workplaces by bringing together the science and practice of positive psychology. Upon completion, students will have the skills to enhance wellbeing and resilience in students, and to create stronger learning environments.
