The economics major provides an extensive education in the domestic and international economy, including the study of economic institutions, concepts, and policy, as well as the tools of economic analysis.

An economics major prepares students for careers in business, such as banking, financial markets, insurance, law, management, and consulting, as well as in national, state, and local governments, and in teaching. It also prepares students for graduate study in economics and related fields, including business administration, finance, public policy, and law.

Program Requirements
