Overview
The MA in Global Heritage provides a thorough and critical understanding of the role of heritage in the contemporary world, paying particular attention to transnational developments and the impact of globalization on the sector.

Admissions Criteria
To be considered for an offer, applicants must meet all entry requirements.
- A copy of the degree certificate and transcripts showing a 2:2 honors degree in a relevant subject area, such as arts, humanities, or social science, or an equivalent international degree.
- A copy of the IELTS certificate with an overall score of 6.5 and 5.5 in all subskills, or evidence of an accepted equivalent.
- If the degree is pending, interim transcripts or provisional certificates should be uploaded.
- For applicants without a degree in a relevant area, professional experience may be considered with additional evidence such as signed and dated employer references.
Course Structure
This is a two-stage postgraduate taught program, totaling 180 credits.
- The taught stage (SeptemberJune) consists of 120 credits through a combination of core (40 credits) and optional (80 credits) modules.
- Successful completion of the taught stage leads to the dissertation stage, where a 60-credit dissertation is completed.
- Core modules provide essential background and conceptual understanding of key issues, debates, challenges, and opportunities presented by heritage in the contemporary world.
- Optional modules allow for the development of specialist knowledge on aspects of the heritage sector and connections between the heritage sector and the creative and cultural industries.
