Entry Requirements
We accept a combination of A-levels and other qualifications, as well as equivalent international qualifications, subject to entry requirements. Typical offers are as follows:
- A level: AAB-BBB, must include Biology or Chemistry.
- International Baccalaureate: 34-31 overall or 666-665 in 3 HL subjects, must include grade 5 in HL Biology or Chemistry.
- Baccalaureate Wales: Accepted in lieu of one A-Level, excluding any specified subjects.
- GCSE and other essential requirements: English language or Welsh language at GCSE grade C/4 or an equivalent, and GCSE Maths grade C/4 or equivalent qualification.
- English language requirements: GCSE English Language grade C or grade 4, IELTS (academic) at least 6.5 overall, TOEFL iBT at least 90 overall, PTE Academic at least 69 overall, or Trinity ISE II/III.

Course Structure
This is a full-time, three-year program where you will study 120 credits each year. The course structure includes:
- Year one: Core modules focusing on biological disciplines, including biological chemistry, cell biology, microbiology, genetics, evolution, anatomy, and physiology.
- Year two: More specialization, with a focus on data analysis, scientific communication, and advanced laboratory techniques.
- Year three: Specialization in more detail, with an extensive degree of self-directed study, and a final year project that allows you to investigate a topic in greater depth.
