Program Overview


Accounting and Finance (MSc)

Overview

The Accounting and Finance (MSc) programme is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, globally connected, and ever-changing business environment. This 1-year full-time programme, running from September to September, is taught through a block structure, allowing students to concentrate on 1 or 2 modules at a time.

Course Structure

The programme consists of a taught stage and a dissertation stage. The taught stage, which runs from September to June, covers 120 credits of taught modules. The dissertation stage, which runs from July to September, involves an independent research dissertation focused on an area of interest in accounting or finance.

Learning and Assessment

Tuition Fees for 2026 Entry

  • Home Status: 」13,950 (Year one), with no deposit required.
  • Overseas Status: 」31,700 (Year one), with a 」2,500 deposit.

Funding

Financial support may be available to individuals who meet certain criteria, including Master's Scholarships, Postgraduate loans, and an Alumni Discount.

Admissions Criteria

To be considered for an offer, applicants must meet the entry requirements, which include:


  • A 2:2 honours degree in any discipline with at least one module related to mathematics, statistics, or quantitative content, or an equivalent international degree.
  • A copy of the IELTS certificate with an overall score of 6.5 with 5.5 in all subskills, or evidence of an accepted equivalent.
