Program Overview
The Women's Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate program is designed to provide MSN prepared nurses and healthcare professionals with advanced female lifespan specialization. The program emphasizes reproductive and gynecologic health needs of women and their partners. Graduates are qualified to provide a myriad of gender-related services, ranging from well-woman care to prenatal and postpartum care, and common and complex women's health issues.

On-Campus Requirements
The program requires mandatory on-campus and/or virtual intensives. Students will attend an in-person on-campus intensive in NURS 690 for 5 days during week one of the summer quarter and a second in-person on-campus intensive in NURS 693 for 2 days during week three of the spring quarter. Dates are subject to change.
Clinicals
The nurse practitioner programs in the Department of Advanced Practice Nursing at Drexel University provide students with the flexibility of finding and coordinating their own clinical site and preceptor. The department also offers resources to assist students in this process.

Admissions Criteria
- Master of Science in Nursing and/or Doctorate of Nursing Practice from a program fully accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN) and/or American Association Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
- Graduate GPA of 3.0 or above
- Current, unrestricted United States RN license
Required Documents

- Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions attended
- Two professional letters of recommendation
- Personal statement (800 to 1,600 words)
- Resume including specific details of responsibilities and job experiences
- A copy of the United States RN license
Tuition
- The tuition rate for the academic year is $1169 per credit.
- A graduate online program fee of $125 per year applies to students enrolled in an online graduate academic program.
