Online Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management (EdD)

The Online Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management (EdD) is a fully online program designed to prepare innovative leaders capable of guiding complex organizations through uncertain times. With its focus on evidence-based theory, action research, and collaborative discourse, students will challenge old ways of thinking while learning to create new models of effective practice across a wide range of educational and business environments.

Curriculum

Admissions Criteria

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Master's degree in Education (or another appropriate field) from a regionally accredited institution
• Master's GPA of 3.5 or above
• 3 years of work experience relevant to professional goals
• Nursing Education concentration only: Current, unrestricted United States RN license

Writing Requirements

• Personal Essay: Discuss professional goals and aspirations (300 words maximum)
• Problem of Practice: Identify and describe a problem of practice relevant to current or former professional practice (750 words maximum)
• Writing Sample: Provide a solo-authored academic paper or create one on a topic of choice (5-30 pages)

Tuition

• The tuition rate for the academic year is $1525 per credit.
• A graduate online program fee of $125 per year applies.
• Tuition rates are subject to increase with the start of each academic year.
• Eligibility for financial aid applies to the 3-year program.

Academic Calendar

The academic calendar includes four terms: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, with specific start and end dates for classes and exams.

Quarter to Semester Converter

A tool is provided to convert quarter credits to semester credits, facilitating the understanding of credit equivalency.
