The Drexel LeBow Master of Health Administration (MHA) program provides students with the knowledge required to successfully navigate and pursue leadership or senior management and planning roles in health services or systems, risk, insurance, compliance, research, or related industries.

The MHA program is designed for both experienced healthcare professionals and recent graduates from business and health-related majors who plan to pursue a health management career. The program's curriculum is grounded in the business of healthcare, with every class focusing on real-life application to some aspect of the healthcare industry.
Curriculum
The online MHA program is grounded in the National Center for Healthcare Leadership's Competency Model the leading model used by accredited graduate education programs to build proven leadership competencies across the health professions. The curriculum is organized around three key domains: transformation, execution, and people. It's designed to give students the skills needed to move up the executive management ladder, covering strategic planning, practice management, team building, project coordination, public policy, and financial oversight.

Admission Requirements
The minimum standards for admission include:
- A bachelor's degree in health administration or a closely related field (such as a clinical discipline, health sciences, or general business) or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and a minimum of one year of healthcare work experience.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.

- A personal statement/essay of approximately 500 to 750 words describing relevant professional and life experiences, outlining career goals, and explaining motivation for pursuing a career in healthcare management and obtaining an MHA degree.
Program Structure
The program offers a flexible, low-residency, online format that enables students to learn on their own schedule while still providing ample opportunities to connect with professors and classmates. Instead of a thesis requirement, students complete a mandatory five-day campus residency with their fellow classmates. Students can choose between two- and three-year plans of study.

The program is fully accredited and is an affiliate member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
Graduate Minor in Health Administration
The graduate minor in health administration is designed for those pursuing graduate studies who are interested in finding a place in management in the healthcare industry, health policy, healthcare advocacy, non-profit organizations, or other leadership roles in healthcare services or human services.
Student Organization
The Drexel Association of Health Administrators (DAHA) provides students majoring or minoring in Health Services Administration with educational and networking opportunities and resources.
