Overview
Drexel University's part-time, two-year pre-medical certificate program is designed for those with non-science undergraduate degrees who wish to pursue a career in the health professions. This unique program helps students transition by providing the opportunity to remain in their current position while fulfilling the pre-requisite undergraduate science courses needed for admission into most medical, dental, physician assistant, veterinary, or other health professional schools.

Admissions Criteria
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. College or university or an equivalent international institution
- Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0
- Completion of college algebra and trigonometry or a higher level math course (e.g., Calculus I) with a grade of B or better
- Submission of a standardized examination score is strongly encouraged
- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident
Required Documents
- A completed application
- Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended
- Two letters of recommendation from college faculty, supervisors, employers, etc., who are familiar with the applicant's work ethic and desire to enter the medical field
- Resume
- A personal statement/essay describing how the program will benefit the applicant's career
Tuition
The tuition rate for the academic year is $0 per credit. An online program fee of $125 per year applies to students enrolled in an online graduate academic program.

Note
State restrictions may apply to some programs. This program is not eligible for Financial Aid, but special tuition rates are available for Drexel University Alumni, Military members, and members of Partner Organizations.
