Certificate in Predictive Business Analytics
The Drexel LeBow Certificate in Predictive Business Analytics provides students with knowledge of programming, decision models, and statistical techniques essential for unlocking patterns and trends from data. The certificate is comprised of four three-credit courses:
- MIS 636: Python Programming for Business Applications
- OPR 601: Managerial Decision Models and Simulation
- STAT 610: Statistics for Business Analytics
- STAT 642: Data Mining for Business Analytics

Predictive Business Analytics Certificate Requirements
The certificate program is available to applicants possessing an earned bachelor's degree from a fully accredited university or college. The program is designed to permit qualified candidates the opportunity to update their skills in a professional field of specialization in which they have had previous academic experience, or to acquire competence in an area of business analytics.
Predictive Analytics Certificate Admissions Requirements
To be considered for admission to the certificate program, applicants must submit:
- A completed application
- A four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or an equivalent international institution
- Official final transcripts from all colleges attended
- One letter of recommendation
- Essay/Statement of Purpose
- Current résumé
- Additional requirements may apply for international students
