Introduction to the Slavonic Studies—Southern Slavonic Studies Program
The Slavonic Languages and Literatures and Cultures degree programme provides students with a sound basic knowledge and skills relating to the language, literature, and culture of the respective Slavic countries in their historical and contemporary manifestations.

Programme Content
The programme focuses on cultural studies and interdisciplinary issues and methods. Students can choose between Bulgarian and Serbian/Croatian; in the major subject of South Slavic Studies, Russian is added as a second language.
Structure
The Bachelor's degree is the first professional qualification, with a standard period of study of six semesters. The programme consists of a major subject with 120 credit points and a supplementary subject with 60 credit points.
