Communication and Cultural Studies (BA)

Application Essay Instructions

• The Application Essay consists of two parts and must be submitted as one PDF file.
• Part One: Critical analysis of a chosen media piece, tying the analysis into examples from everyday life and previous studies.
• Part Two: Connection of the program's webpage, courses, and research areas to the applicant's plans for the future, including background, scholarly interests, and creative endeavors.
• Technical guidelines include formatting in 12pt Times New Roman font, single-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and a specific naming convention for the PDF file.
