Introduction to the Judaic Studies Program
The Judaic Studies program at Concordia University offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history, culture, and literature of Jews, deepening their understanding of the lived experience of the Jewish community through time and today.
Program Overview
The program touches on ancient and modern languages, politics, philosophy, and law, comparing Jewish and other religious traditions, exploring contemporary scenes, and assessing how mysticism, rituals, and philosophy intersect with popular culture, sexuality, feminism, food, ethics, and worship. Students will think deeply about what it means to be Jewish and to be an ethnic minority, with the chance to build their knowledge of Hebrew.

Program Structure
A Bachelor of Arts degree takes a minimum of three or four years (90 120 credits) of full-time study, depending on the academic background.
