Business Technology Management (BComm)
The Business Technology Management program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to bridge the gap between technology and business. This program is offered by the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
Program Overview
The program focuses on developing students' understanding of information and communication technology, business process analysis, project management, critical thinking, and communications and interpersonal skills. Upon graduation, students will be able to implement information and communication technologies, increase productivity, and become innovative entrepreneurs.
Program Structure
The Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Technology Management takes a minimum of three to four years (90-120 credits) of full-time study. The program consists of:
- Core business courses (48 credits)
- Business Technology Management major courses (24 credits)
- Electives (18 credits), which may include a business minor (12 credits)
Program Options
- Major in Business Technology Management: Available to all undergraduate students in the John Molson School of Business.
- Minor in Business Technology Management: Available only to John Molson School of Business undergraduate students, fulfilling 12 elective credits.
- Integrated Path: Allows undergraduate students in Business Technology Management to take up to 12 credits that count towards both their Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Analytics and Technology Management.

Co-op Program
The Co-op program offers paid work terms lasting 12 to 16 weeks, providing students with practical experience in managing web and intranet sites, assisting in e-commerce initiatives, consulting on IT strategic planning, and more.
Admission Criteria
Admission requirements vary based on the applicant's educational background:
- Quebec CEGEP: Overall average of 27, with 26.5 in math.
- High School: Overall average of B, with B in math.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma: Overall average of 29, with 4 HL or 5 SL in math.
- International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (CP): Overall average of 4.8/7, with 4 HL or 5 SL in math.
- Baccalaur嶧t fran蓷is: Overall average of 13, with 13 in math.
- British system of education (GCE): At least two A-level exams with CC, C in math.
- University transfers (internal): Overall average of 2.7, with 2.7 in math.
- University transfer (external): Overall average of B-, with B- in math.
Application Deadlines
- Fall entry (September): Deadline is March 1 for Canadian applicants and February 1 for U.S. and international applicants.
- Winter entry (January): Deadline is November 1 for Canadian applicants and August 1 for U.S. and international applicants.
After Your Degree
Graduates of the Business Technology Management program are prepared for careers in various business technology areas, such as business information systems analysis, information systems support management, project management, and e-business development. Alumni have gone on to work for companies like Air Canada, Bank of Montreal, Ericsson, IBM, and Pratt and Whitney.
