Construction Engineering and Management Graduate Certificate

The University of Texas at San Antonio offers a Graduate Certificate in Construction Engineering, Science and Management (CESM) that prepares individuals with practical knowledge for successful careers in construction. This certificate certifies to employers that CESM students have completed coursework essential to be an asset to companies.

Program Overview

Earn a Master's Degree

Students can combine this program with another eligible certificate to earn a master's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, customizing their degree to align with their professional and educational goals.

Admission & Application Requirements

Applications are submitted through the UT San Antonio Graduate Application. Required documents include:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or proof of equivalent training at a foreign institution
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Transcripts from all institutions attended
• Credential Evaluation if university-level credit was earned from foreign institutions
• English Language Proficiency (550 TOEFL Paper / 79 TOEFL Internet / 6.5 IELTS / Duolingo 100)
• Resume

Applicants are encouraged to have their admission file completed as early as possible. Deadlines are subject to change and are as follows:

• Spring 2026: October 1 (International and Domestic)
• Fall 2026: February 1 (Priority), June 1 (International), August 1 (Domestic)

Admission Prerequisites
