Study Content
The study programme provides advanced scientific and methodological knowledge in the field of climate research and offers elective modules from the field of environmental sciences. Students must select three of the four disciplines offered, according to their individual focus. The spectrum includes subject areas closely related to climate research and having special significance in the context of climate impact research. A special feature is the strong integration of non-university research institutions in the study programme, allowing up to 30 credit points to be completed at these institutions.

If the Bachelor's certificate or equivalent degree is not yet available, proof of the examination results achieved in this degree programme, the average grade achieved, the number of credit points included in the calculation of the average grade, as well as the number of credit points required for the completion of the corresponding degree programme must be enclosed.
For Applicants with a Foreign Degree
- Bachelor's certificate or equivalent degree, including a Transcript of Records with a minimum grade of 2.50. If the originals are not in German or English, a certified copy or a certified translation by a translator sworn in Germany is required.
