Oregon Summer Sports Law Institute

The Oregon Summer Sports Law Institute is a comprehensive program that offers students the opportunity to study sports law in a immersive and interactive environment. The program includes courses in professional sports law, pathway to practice, and careers in sports law.

The Oregon Summer Sports Law Institute features a faculty of experienced and renowned experts in sports law, including Professor David Weber, who specializes in sports law with an emphasis on name, image, and likeness (NIL) and legal issues facing international athletes.


Cedric Halloran Award

The Cedric Halloran Award is given annually to one or two students who demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, and a beautiful spirit, as well as a passion for sports and a genuine investment in the success and happiness of others. The award includes a monetary prize supported by the Halloran family.
