Academic Details

You will enroll in two, four-credit classes while in London. These courses will combine classroom learning with experiential excursions that provide access to important locations and individuals within the business sphere of the United Kingdom and European Union.

  • Cross-Cultural Business Communication (equivalent to BA 361) understands the nuances involved in working cross-culturally based on research from social science, psychology, and organizations. This course develops an awareness of cultural priorities and intercultural communication skills and applies them to practical business communication and professional contexts.
  • Marketing the Arts is an upper-division Marketing elective course where you will visit various museums, theatres, and concert venues to engage with their marketing experts to understand the foundations that go into promotions and events at leading organizations in a global city.

Both courses are recognized and approved for academic credit at the University of Oregon and can apply to the Business Administration major or minor. There are no pre-requisites, and the program is open to students from any major.
