STEM + Healthcare Program

The STEM and healthcare internships overseas are designed to provide students with practical experience in their chosen specialty and preferred career field while allowing students to develop marketable skills for future employers after graduating from the UO.

Program Details

• STEM + Healthcare Internships are fully customizable and can be located at most of the locations where GlobalWorks offers internships.
• Some locations are stronger in STEM and healthcare career fields while other locations are only offered exclusively for STEM and healthcare internships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and deal with ambiguity
• Flexibility to take on multiple job responsibilities, including entry level tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team
• Strong attention to accuracy, details, and organizational skills
