Admission Requirements Business Information Technology
The Bachelor's Business Information Technology at the University of Twente has specific admission requirements that must be met for a successful application.
What Diploma Did You Get?
To be admissible, you must have an international secondary school diploma equivalent to the Dutch VWO-degree. The diploma requirements include:
- English
- Mathematics
You can apply even if you have not completed your degree yet. Please check your country of origin to see if your diploma matches these requirements.
Dutch Diploma (VWO)
You will be admitted to the bachelor's programme if you possess a Dutch VWO-diploma with the profile:
- Natuur & Techniek
- Other profile, as long as it includes 'Wiskunde B'
Dutch HBO-propedeuse/HBO-degree
If you have successfully completed your first year of studies in a relevant subject at a university of applied sciences (Dutch HBO), you are also welcome to join this programme. Your educational background will be checked to ensure it fits well with this study programme. You must have a mark of 8 or higher in the last semester of your first year.
Level of English
As the programme is entirely English-taught, you must meet the English language requirement. You need to upload the required documents as proof of your English language proficiency before the application deadline. If you hold a Dutch VWO-diploma, you meet the language proficiency requirements.
Mathematics and Programming
Mathematics and programming knowledge are essential parts of this bachelor's. The better you are at programming and mathematics, the greater the chances are that you will successfully complete the Business Information Technology programme. The key to success is taking studying seriously, being motivated, and studying regularly.
