Program Overview

University of Twente Bachelor's in Psychology Program

The University of Twente offers a Bachelor's in Psychology program with two tracks: the Dutch track and the English track. Each track has its own application deadlines and procedures.

English Track

The English track has a numerus fixus, which means there are only 250 places available. The application deadline for the English track is January 15, 2026. To apply, students must submit their application via Studielink between October 1, 2025, and January 15, 2026.

• Application steps for the numerus fixus track:
  • Apply via Studielink between October 1, 2025, and January 15, 2026.
  • Complete the application in OSIRIS by January 15, 2026.
  • Participate in the selection procedure, which consists of three parts:
    • Online matching assignment (20%): submit before March 2, 2026.
    • Online Psychology test (40%): take on March 13, 2026.
    • Online Methods & Statistics test (40%): take on March 13, 2026.
• Ranking numbers will be published on April 15, 2026. Students who receive a ranking number between 1 and 250 will be offered a place in the program.

Dutch Track

The Dutch track has a mandatory matching procedure instead of a numerus fixus. The application deadline for the Dutch track is April 30, 2026. To apply, students must submit their application via Studielink between October 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026.

• Steps for the mandatory matching procedure:
  • Apply via Studielink between October 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026.
  • Complete the application in OSIRIS by April 30, 2026.
  • Participate in the mandatory matching procedure, which consists of two parts:
    • Online questionnaire: complete before the matching activity.
    • Matching activity: take place on campus on one of the following dates:
      • April 16, 2026
      • June 2, 2026
• After participating in the matching procedure, students will receive non-binding advice about their match with the program.

Final Enrolment

To be officially enrolled, students must:

• Accept their placement offer in Studielink (for the English track).
• Meet the admission requirements.
• Complete all steps in OSIRIS.
• Fulfill all UT enrolment requirements, such as paying tuition and submitting required documents.

Key Dates

• English track:
  • October 1, 2025: application period opens in Studielink.
  • January 15, 2026: final deadline to apply and complete OSIRIS.
  • February 2-6, 2026: selection procedure invitations will be sent.
  • March 2, 2026: deadline to submit matching assignment.
  • March 13, 2026: online Psychology and Methods & Statistics tests.
  • April 15, 2026: ranking numbers published in Studielink.
• Dutch track:
