What to Expect

  • Program Content: The "OK van de toekomst" (Operating Room of the Future) sounds cool, but what does the current operating room actually look like? During this masterclass, you will get acquainted with medical technology, the latest developments in this field, and the challenges that come with it. In groups, you will come up with a creative solution to a problem.
  • Technology plays a significant and important role in healthcare. Thanks to technological innovations, patients can be treated better and care can be more efficient. However, technology can also make care more complicated because both technical and medical knowledge are required. This masterclass helps you understand how technology and medicine work together to improve care.
  • Required Courses and/or Profile: There are no required courses for attending this masterclass.
  • After Completing this Masterclass:
    • You will be able to develop a new product as a solution to a medical problem.
    • You will have gained knowledge of various imaging techniques used in the operating room.
    • You will have learned about anatomical and physiological knowledge in the field of the brain, brain tumors, and the chosen case.
