Program Overview


Master CME Programme Overview

The Master's programme in Construction Management and Engineering (CME) is a two-year academic programme. An academic year is divided into four quarters, each with a schedule of ten weeks. The study load for a quarter is 15 European Credits (EC).


Programme Curriculum

The curriculum of the Construction Management and Engineering master's programme consists of 120 EC. The programme is structured as follows:


  • Specialisation courses (50 EC)
  • Civil Engineering electives out of the CEM curriculum (15 EC)
  • Free Electives (a maximum of 15 EC)
    • MSc-thesis on a topic within the chosen profile, including:
      • Preparation MSc-thesis (5 EC)
      • Academic Research Skills for CEM/CME (5 EC)
      • MSc-thesis project (30 EC)
