Program Overview
Master's in Environmental & Energy Management
The Master's in Environmental & Energy Management is a program designed for students with a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or accredited academic institution in a discipline related to that of the master's program.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or accredited academic institution in a discipline related to that of the master's program.
- A Bachelor's degree in Natural, Technical, Environmental or Social Sciences or a related field.
- Work experience is recommended or, depending on disciplinary background, required.
Language Skills
Success in the studies requires a high level of English proficiency. Therefore, prospective master's students with an international degree must meet the English language requirement. The application will only be processed when the English language requirements have been met.
English Language Requirements
As proof that applicants meet the English language requirement, they will be asked to upload one of the requested language certificates, including:
- IELTS (academic) certificate, not older than two years, with an overall band score of at least 6.5, and a minimum score on each section of at least 6.0.
- TOEFL iBT (internet-based) certificate, not older than two years, with an overall score of 90, and a minimum score on each section of at least 21.
- Cambridge C1 Advanced, formerly known as Cambridge English Advanced (CAE), obtained with an overall score of at least 176 and a minimum score on each section of at least 169.
- Cambridge C2 Proficiency, formerly known as Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE), obtained with an A, B, or C grade, with an overall score of at least 176 and a minimum score on each section of at least 169.
- PTE Academic certificate, not older than two years, with an overall score of at least 63, and a minimum score on each section of 59 (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
- LANGUAGECERT Academic certificate, not older than two years, with an overall score (band score/minimum score) of 70, and minimum subscores of 65 in Reading and Listening, and 70 in Speaking and Writing.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Copy of diploma
- Transcript of records
- Course descriptions
- CGPA of at least 70% of the maximum score, or the country's equivalent
- English summary of thesis (BSc or MSc)
- Letter of Motivation (max 1.5 pages)
- Resume (Europass), summarizing educational career and working experience
- An interview with the pre-master committee can be part of the selection procedure.
