Program Overview
Master's Program in Communication Science
The Master's program in Communication Science is an internationally oriented program, entirely taught in English. Students can start in September or February and can choose their own courses or decide to follow one of the three tracks:
- Social marketing and behavioural change
- Strategic organisational communication
- Society, media and technology
After completing this study, students can pursue a career in social media marketing or digital advertising by developing content strategies for behaviour change as a strategic communicator. Alternatively, they can start a career in public relations, corporate communications, or crisis communication management. They can also advise organisations and the public on how to deal with polarisation and fake news.

Double Degree Study Programme in Digital Marketing
The Double Degree Master's in Digital Marketing (90 EC) prepares students to navigate the evolving marketing landscape. The programme focuses on both business and communication aspects of digital marketing, offering insight into current practices and emerging trends.
Completing the double degree programme will result in two Master degrees:
- Master of Science in Communication Science (UT)
- Master of Science in Business Administration (UT)

Double Degree Study Programme in Policy, Governance and Communication
The Double Degree Master's in Policy, Governance and Communication combines policy, governance, and communication. Students learn how to deal with issues like crisis management, global policy, and trust in government. During the programme, they explore how democracy and media are changing and how these two influence each other. They gain practical tools to create strong policies and communication strategies.
Completing the double degree programme will result in two Master degrees:
