Admission Requirements
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A recognized Bachelor of Nursing degree (or higher)
- Current or temporary, unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) or the professional registration body in their country of origin
- One year of work experience as a registered nurse
- English language requirements apply to international applicants, with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) or equivalent
Program Structure
The program consists of 120 credit points, comprising:
- 80 credit points for core modules
- 40 credit points for flexible modules The core modules include courses such as Foundations of Research Inquiry, Quality and Safety in Healthcare, and Transforming and Leading Healthcare. The flexible modules allow students to tailor their research development through options in quantitative and/or qualitative research or clinical trials.
