Pre-Kindergarten
Program Overview
Pre-Kindergarten Program
The Pre-Kindergarten program at Griffith University is designed to provide early education and care, focusing on learning through play. This approach allows children to explore and develop their creativity, imagination, and various strengths in a supportive environment.
Program Overview
The program is offered in a nurturing setting, where children can engage in indoor and outdoor activities, fostering their physical, social, emotional, sensory, cognitive, and multicultural development. A typical day includes a range of experiences, such as art, outdoor play, and educational activities, all aimed at encouraging children to explore and learn at their own pace.
Importance of Learning Through Play

- Allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, physical, social, emotional, sensory, cognitive, and multicultural strengths
- Enables children to create and explore a world they can master, conquering fears while practicing adult roles
- Facilitates decision-making processes, allowing children to move at their own pace and discover their own areas of interest
