The Griffith University Law Society Mentoring Program provides first-year students with support and friendship throughout their initial year at university.

Program Description

The program connects new students with more experienced students for guidance and support. Students are matched with a mentor who is further along in their degree to ensure new students receive advice and support relevant to their experience.

Program Features

• The program offers mature-aged mentees the option of a mature-aged mentor.
• Students can choose the pace of their mentoring and the amount of interaction they require.
• The program is based at Brisbane South (Nathan).

Mentoring Roles

• Mentors: provide guidance and support to new students.
• Mentees: receive advice and support from mentors.
• Program coordinators: oversee the mentoring program.
