The Succeeding at Griffith program is a compulsory, free customized Orientation program designed for international partner university students who are about to start at Griffith University and have not completed an intensive English language course at Griffith English Language Institute.

The program aims to ensure a smooth transition into the student's degree and provide them with the necessary skills to be successful in their studies at Griffith.


Course Features

  • Duration: The program runs from Monday of Orientation Week in Trimesters 1, 2, and 3.
  • Program Content:
    • Compulsory international student orientation
    • Sessions related specifically to the student's degree program
    • Academic skills workshops, including:
      • Organising time effectively
      • Selecting and reading appropriate resources
      • Identifying and expressing academic 'voice'
      • Structuring arguments and essays
