The Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité (DHZC) and the Pflegeschule der DHZB Akademie offer a joint training program for nursing professionals. The program aims to provide comprehensive training in the field of nursing, with a focus on cardiovascular diseases.

Program Details

• The program is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in nursing, particularly in the field of cardiovascular care.
• The training program lasts for three years and includes a minimum of 2,500 hours of practical training and approximately 2,100 hours of theoretical instruction.

• The program also includes external placements with partner institutions in ambulatory, long-term care, and psychiatric settings.
• Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to use the professional title of "Pflegefachfrau," "Pflegefachmann," or "Pflegefachperson."

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have a good secondary school diploma (MSA, FOR, Realschulabschluss) or an equivalent qualification.
• Alternatively, applicants may have completed a different type of secondary education (e.g., extended secondary school diploma) or have a relevant vocational training certificate.
• Non-native German speakers must provide proof of language proficiency at the B2 level.
• Applicants must demonstrate physical and personal suitability for the nursing profession.
• Interest in medical contexts and enjoyment of working with people are essential.
• Reliability, teamwork, and organizational skills are also required.
